POSITION OVERVIEW: This role reports directly to the Director of Wellbeing and is an integral part of the Senior Leadership Team. The Lead Manager is responsible for the strategic planning, organization, and coordination of clinical services, focusing on client care delivery and operational efficiency.

The Lead Manager will be accountable for various aspects of the Primary & Clinical Care Service program, including:

  • Operational planning and evaluation of client care services.
  • Development of personnel and management of financial resources.
  • Implementation of quality management practices to enhance service delivery.

Additionally, this position requires fostering a culturally respectful environment that promotes teamwork and encourages all staff to contribute to the continuous improvement of services.

EMPLOYMENT TYPE: Full Time

WORKING HOURS: 35 hours per week

COMPENSATION: Competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience.

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS:

  • A degree in Health Sciences or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • In-depth knowledge of primary and clinical care issues within First Nations communities.
  • Current registration as a Health Care Professional.
  • Proven experience in leading teams and managing change effectively.
  • Strong skills in strategic planning and resource management.
  • Ability to develop and implement innovative solutions to challenges.
  • Familiarity with governmental policies and programs relevant to wellbeing services.
  • A minimum of three years of managerial experience in a professional setting.
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development and learning.
  • Comprehensive understanding of care standards, legislative requirements, and quality improvement practices.
  • Experience in managing multiple budgets responsibly.
