Corix is currently seeking a Project Supervisor to oversee our Gas Meter Survey initiative. This role will involve managing a team dedicated to conducting inspections of gas meters, ensuring that all operations are executed efficiently and effectively.

Position Overview

The Project Supervisor will play a critical role in supervising daily activities of Gas Meter Survey Technicians while also engaging in hands-on survey work. This position requires a strong leader who can provide training and support to staff, acting as the subject matter expert on gas meter inspections. The Supervisor will collaborate with the team to uphold quality standards and address any customer or employee concerns that arise.

Compensation

The compensation for this position is competitive, with opportunities for performance-based earnings. Additionally, mileage reimbursement is provided for travel conducted in personal vehicles.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure all scheduled routes are completed as planned.
  • Suggest improvements to the efficiency of gas meter routes and update relevant data.
  • Provide on-the-job training and guidance to field staff, assisting with the implementation of company policies and service standards.
  • Conduct field inspections to ensure compliance with safety and operational procedures.
  • Address customer inquiries and resolve issues in accordance with company protocols, escalating matters to management when necessary.
  • Deliver daily performance reports to the Project Manager and provide feedback on team performance.
  • Assist in the recruitment, disciplinary actions, and termination processes as needed.
  • Perform additional duties as required.
Preferred Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or equivalent; prior supervisory experience is essential.
  • Excellent organizational, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to train and mentor others, with a preference for candidates with field or utility experience.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and capable of utilizing handheld devices for data entry.
  • Strong ability to follow and communicate instructions clearly.
  • Competence in navigating using maps and handheld devices.
  • Professional demeanor when interacting with customers.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
