Security Professional

About the Role
Paladin Security is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Security Professional to join our team. As a Security Professional, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and support to clients and visitors, while maintaining a safe and secure environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide proactive patrols to ensure overall safety and security of the site.
- Respond to breaches in site rules and document any concerns.
- Attend and investigate security alarms and emergencies in a timely and professional manner.
- De-escalate crisis situations and provide support and liaison with emergency personnel.
- Exercise crowd control and evict trespassers from site.
- Write clear and detailed reports, including incident, emergency, liability, and day-to-day reports.
- Provide first aid when required.
- Utilize two-way radios and computer applications to communicate site activities.
Requirements
- High School Diploma/GED.
- Valid Security Licence.
- Strong written and oral communication skills, excellent interpersonal skills, and proven de-escalation skills.
- Calm under pressure and confident in problem-solving abilities.
- Understanding of the importance of confidentiality in the workplace.
- Ability to perform all physical aspects of the job, including walking up to 20km/shift, walking up/down stairs, and pushing/pulling 30-pound doors.
- Open availability and willingness to work day and night shifts, on a rotation.
