Security Professional

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Security Professional to join our team at Paladin Security. As a Security Professional, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and support to clients and visitors at various worksites in Calgary and surrounding areas.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide proactive patrols to ensure overall safety and respond to breaches in site rules.
- Attend and investigate security alarms and emergencies in a timely and professional manner.
- De-escalate crisis situations and provide support and liaison with emergency personnel.
- Exercise crowd control and evict trespassers from site.
- Write clear and detailed reports, including incident, emergency, liability, and day-to-day reports.
- Provide first aid when required.
- Utilize two-way radios and computer applications to communicate site activities.
- Strong written and oral communication skills, excellent interpersonal skills, and proven de-escalation skills.
- Takes an empathetic approach to conflict resolution and enjoys being part of the solution.
- Calm under pressure and confident in problem-solving abilities.
- Understands the importance of confidentiality in the workplace.
- Can perform all physical aspects of the job, including walking up to 20km/shift, walking up/down stairs, and pushing/pulling 30-pound doors.
- Has open availability and is willing to work both day and night shifts, on a rotation.
- Holds a valid Alberta Security license or is willing to obtain one prior to commencing work with Paladin Security.
