Position SummaryWe are seeking a **Threat Intelligence Software Engineer** with a strong emphasis on blockchain technology. This role requires a Full-Stack Web Developer who is not only skilled but also passionate about the cryptocurrency landscape.
Key Responsibilities- Analyze on-chain transactions linked to wallet drainers and malicious entities.
- Identify wallet draining scripts within Web3 front-end applications.
- Simulate wallet interactions with phishing websites to gather data on attack behaviors.
- Extract and label addresses associated with phishing sites for on-chain tracing.
- Develop and enhance our primary application, Discord Bot, API, and Typescript SDK.
- Engage in regular code evaluations on GitHub, ensuring high code quality and discussing various trade-offs.
- Collaborate with co-founders and fellow engineers to define project scopes and act as a project manager for key initiatives.
- Work alongside co-founders to conduct strategic experiments aimed at evaluating product-market fit and identifying growth opportunities.
- Produce documentation, tests, and tools to enhance the Developer Experience as required.
Here are some projects that illustrate the type of work expected in this role:
- Create a simulator to connect to phishing domains from our database, mimicking a connection to capture the full process and extract any involved on-chain addresses.
- Trace the flow of funds from phishing attacks, uncovering additional contracts and addresses, and develop visualizations to aid in the tracing process.
The ideal candidate will possess:
- Experience in on-chain tracing, lost fund recovery, or auditing.
- Familiarity with technologies such as Vercel, TRPC, Chakra UI, React Query, MySQL/Vitess, and Prisma.
- Experience working within a production codebase.
- Experience in building and maintaining public REST APIs is advantageous.
- UI/UX design skills and an understanding of design systems are a plus.
- Background in technical writing, Developer Relations, or other non-technical skills is beneficial.
- Previous experience in a startup environment is preferred.
