About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Consultant, Training & Development Expert to join our team at People Corporation. As a key member of our People First HR Services (PFHR) team, you will play a critical role in leading and delivering people and culture solutions to our clients across a breadth of organizations nationally.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee projects focused on people and culture solutions to clients across Canada, leveraging your expertise in strategic HR consulting to drive business results.
  • Assess and provide recommendations to organizations requiring strategic Human Resource solutions, including Training & Development, Employee Engagement, Coaching & Assessments, Investigations, and Total Rewards/Compensation.
  • Establish goals and implementation plans to achieve high-quality deliverables within expected timeframes, ensuring timely and effective project execution.
  • Develop analysis (sometimes complex) based on client and market data, providing actionable insights to inform business decisions.
  • Identify and resolve issues critical to your clients' strategic and operational success, demonstrating your ability to think critically and solve complex problems.
  • Leverage analytics and industry insights to provide our clients with business-focused solutions, driving business growth and improvement.
  • Generate qualitative and quantitative analysis using data from a variety of sources, presenting findings and recommendations to clients and stakeholders.
  • Design talent management solutions to achieve the desired organizational objectives/needs, aligning with our clients' business strategies and goals.
  • Deliver presentations, workshops, and client training around product solutions, effectively communicating complex information to diverse audiences.
  • Cross-collaborate with other team members and divisions to ensure we are innovating and delivering the highest level of service to our clients.
  • Strategize and formulate business plans, identifying opportunities for growth and improvement.
  • Engage in business development activities, networking, and client relationship management to ensure the continued growth of the division and to continue to develop the strategic HR portfolio.

Requirements

  • 7 years' experience in HR or management consulting, with a strong understanding of Human Resources and all that it encompasses.
  • Experience facilitating training and developing training programs required.
  • Proven ability to foster relationships at all levels of the organization, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to prioritize events, tasks, activities, and meet deadlines in an extremely fast-paced environment.
  • Experience collaborating with teams of varying sizes that work with tight deadlines and with a high standard quality of work.
  • Ability to anticipate the short and long-term impact of decisions and take a broad approach to problem-solving.
  • Strong business acumen, with ability to quickly translate concepts into practical outcomes that deliver business value.
  • Excellent communication skills coupled with a sense of leadership.
  • Aptitude for problem-solving, with the ability to apply logic and experience to assist with the development of solutions for clients.
  • Solutions-oriented, placing a strong emphasis on consultation and collaboration to build strong and effective partnerships.
  • Lifelong learner - always open to learning and expanding your skills.
  • Detail-oriented with a proven ability to manage and prioritize multiple/complex projects and work towards tight deadlines, including last-minute changes, and alignment of resources to ensure priorities are met.
  • Occasional travel required.
