About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Structural Engineer to join our team at CB Canada. As a key member of our Civil Engineering Sector, you will be responsible for providing innovative engineering design solutions for bridges, buildings, and marine structures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of junior engineers in the field of civil and structural engineering with a focus on bridges and marine structures.
  • Provide expert-level structural design, analysis, and modeling services.
  • Review and approve design and drawing submissions.
  • Carry out specifications and quantity estimations.
  • Manage projects from start to close, ensuring timely completion and quality results.
  • Conduct structural inspections and assessments for various projects.
  • Perform fieldwork and visit project sites as needed.
  • Prepare, review, and sign off on reports.
Requirements
  • Minimum of 10 years' relevant experience as a Professional Engineer in Canada.
  • Professional Engineer's designation (P.Eng) in any Province of Canada with eligibility for registration with Engineers Nova Scotia.
  • Master of Engineering (Structural Engineering) from a recognized educational institution.
  • High-level proficiency in structural analysis and modeling.
  • Intermediate-level proficiency in MS Office Suite and MS Project.
  • Extensive knowledge of relevant Canadian design codes and standards.
  • Familiarity with engineering software programs.
