About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Procurement Representative to join our International Supply Chain Team in Canada. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for supporting indirect procurement activities, including sourcing, negotiating, and purchasing materials, equipment, parts, services, and supplies.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in procurement, with experience in managing procurement processes, negotiating contracts, and analyzing data to inform procurement decisions. You will also have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with internal clients, external suppliers, and cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the procurement of indirect goods and services, including hardware, software, and services
  • Develop and implement procurement strategies to achieve cost savings and process improvements
  • Manage procurement processes, including sourcing, contracting, and payment
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand business needs and develop procurement solutions
  • Build and maintain relationships with external suppliers to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of goods and services
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as business, supply chain management, or a related field
  • Minimum 6 years of experience in procurement, with a strong background in indirect procurement
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with internal clients, external suppliers, and cross-functional teams
  • Proficiency in procurement software and systems, including SAP or equivalent
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and projects
