Job Summary

Marysons Canada Inc. is seeking a skilled Child and Youth Development Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality services to children and youth in our community.

Key Responsibilities
  • Case Management: Assess client needs and develop individualized plans to address their unique challenges and goals.
  • Program Development: Collaborate with colleagues to design and implement life skills workshops and other programs that promote healthy development and well-being.
  • Client Support: Provide emotional support and guidance to clients, including crisis intervention and conflict resolution.
  • Supervision: Supervise activities of clients living in group homes and half-way houses, ensuring their safety and well-being.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with office and volunteer staff to ensure seamless delivery of services.
Requirements
  • Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
  • Certifications: First Aid Certificate and CPR Certificate.
Work Environment

This is a permanent, full-time position with a 35-40 hour workweek. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
