As an integral member of the Personal and Business Banking Team, you will oversee a team of client-facing professionals within the banking center, as well as collaborate with other centers in your area to fulfill CIBC's mission of turning our clients' aspirations into reality.
Your expertise in understanding client needs will be paramount in providing tailored advice and the right products and solutions to achieve their financial objectives.
In your role as a Community Banking Manager, you will be responsible for cultivating a skilled and motivated team through proactive talent development.You will have the authority to foster a positive workplace culture, ensure operational efficiency, maintain compliance, and enhance CIBC's reputation within the community, ultimately leading to exceptional client experiences and growth that surpasses our competitors.
To effectively carry out your responsibilities, you will be required to work on-site full-time.Strive to elevate CIBC's presence in the community and nurture both new and existing client relationships. Encourage your team to address client concerns promptly and escalate issues when necessary.
Regularly assess the banking center's performance and implement strategies to address any deficiencies. Collaborate with all stakeholders to optimize market opportunities and enhance the overall performance of the banking center. Manage risks diligently to protect our bank, clients, and shareholders.
Advocate for CIBC in the community to attract employees who embody our values.
You understand that building relationships and networks is crucial for success. You possess current accreditation and are in good standing with a Mutual Funds License (Canadian Securities Course or Investment Funds in Canada).

Completion of any of the following courses: Branch Compliance Officer's Course (BCO), Branch Managers Examination Course (BME), Conducts & Practices Handbook (CPH), Wealth Management Essentials (WME).
