Role Overview:

The Product Analytics team at WMG is dedicated to leveraging data to inform critical business decisions, from identifying and onboarding new talent to optimizing song promotion and performance metrics.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Gain a comprehensive understanding of our intricate datasets, interpreting them to enhance our knowledge of artists, tracks, and audience engagement.
  • Effectively communicate analytical insights across various functions and levels within the organization.
  • Act as an analytical partner in defining problems, developing KPIs and metrics, visualizing data, and implementing statistical models.
  • Design, analyze, and report on experiments to assess the impact of new product features, providing actionable recommendations.
  • Identify opportunities for business improvement and support decision-making across teams.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in a Product Analyst or similar capacity.
  • Proficient in SQL with advanced analytical skills.
  • Experience with programming languages such as Python or R.
  • Familiarity with data visualization tools, particularly Tableau.
  • Strong grasp of statistical principles, including causal inference and regression analysis.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to thrive both independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment.
  • Demonstrated history of influencing decisions through insightful analysis.
  • A Bachelor's Degree or higher in a quantitative discipline (e.g., Statistics, Economics).

Compensation:

The salary range for this position is between $100,000 and $130,000 annually, depending on experience and business needs.
