Job Title: Production Mechanic

We are seeking a skilled Production Mechanic to join our team at MBEZ. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for assembling, maintaining, and repairing complex mechanical equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assemble and install mechanical equipment, including stationary industrial machinery
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on machinery and equipment
  • Coach and instruct apprentices in mechanical skills and techniques
  • Detect and troubleshoot irregularities and malfunctions in mechanical systems
  • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine work requirements
  • Estimate costs and materials for repairs and maintenance
  • Operate machining tools to fabricate parts and repair equipment
  • Program programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and commission systems and components
Requirements:
  • Industrial Mechanic (Millwright) Trade Certification
  • Construction Millwright Trade Certification
  • Occupational Health and Safety Certificate
  • Welder Trade Certification
  • Canadian Welding Bureau Certification
  • Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate
Work Environment:

Our production team works in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a focus on safety and quality. You will be required to work at heights, in noisy and dusty conditions, and in confined spaces.
