About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Income Tax Return Preparer to join our team at Tax Aid. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for preparing income tax returns for our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Education: A college, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year is required.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field is preferred.
Technical Skills
  • Accounting Software: Proficiency in Quick Books, Simply Accounting, and Spreadsheet software is required.
  • Microsoft Office: Strong skills in MS Excel, MS Word, and MS Windows are essential.
  • Internet: Familiarity with internet-based research and communication tools is necessary.
Personal Qualities
  • Accuracy: A high level of accuracy and attention to detail is required.
  • Client Focus: Excellent client communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
  • Organizational Skills: Strong organizational and time management skills are necessary to meet deadlines.
