About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Construction Labourer to join our team at S&S Homes. As a key member of our construction team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth execution of our building projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Site Preparation: Assist in the preparation of construction sites, including loading, unloading, and transporting materials.
  • Material Handling: Mix, pour, and spread materials such as concrete and asphalt, ensuring accurate measurements and quality control.
  • Support Services: Provide assistance to medical examiners, help with framing houses, erecting walls, and building roofs, and clean up chemical spills and other contaminants.
  • Site Safety: Direct traffic at or near construction sites, ensuring a safe working environment for all personnel.
Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
  • Experience: Willingness to train and learn on the job.
  • Work Environment: Willing to relocate for work assignments, with relocation costs covered by the employer.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with physically demanding tasks.
  • Personal Qualities: Flexibility, team player, and ability to work in a dynamic environment.
