About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Construction Trades Assistant to join our team at Unique Home Improvements & Reno Corp. As a key member of our construction team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth execution of our projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Material Handling: Load, unload, and transport construction materials to and from job sites.
  • Site Preparation: Assist in erecting and dismantling concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks, shoring, and barricades.
  • Construction Support: Assist in framing houses, erecting walls, and building roofs.
  • Demolition: Assist in demolishing buildings and structures.
  • Clean-up: Clean and pile salvaged materials, and remove rubble and other debris from construction sites.
  • Site Safety: Direct traffic at or near construction sites and assist in maintaining a safe working environment.
Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma is required.
  • Experience: Willingness to train and learn on the job.
  • Language: English is the primary language of communication.
  • Work Schedule: 35-40 hours per week.
