Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Floor Covering Installer Helper to join our team at P&H Construction Ltd. As a key member of our crew, you will assist in the installation of floor coverings, ensuring a high-quality finish and meeting our company's standards.

Responsibilities
  • Mix, pour, and spread materials such as concrete and asphalt to prepare surfaces for flooring installation.
  • Clean and pile salvaged materials to maintain a safe and organized work environment.
  • Perform routine maintenance work to ensure the longevity of our equipment and tools.
  • Respond to chemical spills and other contaminants, taking necessary precautions to protect yourself and the environment.
  • Remove rubble and other debris from construction sites, maintaining a clean and safe workspace.
  • Load, unload, and move products and materials by hand or with basic material handling equipment, adhering to safety protocols.
  • Inspect and repair damaged floor coverings to ensure a high-quality finish.
Work Environment

As a Floor Covering Installer Helper, you will work in a fast-paced construction environment, often in various locations. You will be exposed to dusty conditions and physically demanding tasks, requiring a high level of physical fitness and stamina.

Requirements
  • No degree, certificate, or diploma is required, but you will receive on-the-job training to develop your skills.
  • Previous experience is not necessary, as we will provide training to help you succeed in this role.
  • You must be a team player, willing to work collaboratively with our crew to achieve our goals.
  • English is the primary language spoken in the workplace, and you must be proficient in this language to communicate effectively.
  • You will work a regular schedule of 32 to 40 hours per week, with opportunities for overtime as needed.
