About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Drywall Installation Specialist to join our team at Andy's Masonry & Renovations Ltd.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and lead a team of drywall installers to ensure high-quality workmanship and timely completion of projects.
  • Apply successive coats of compound and sand seams and joints to achieve a smooth finish.
  • Cut and install metal corner beads to protect exterior corners and ensure a professional finish.
  • Fabricate and install suspended metal ceiling grids and place in panels to form acoustical and coffered ceilings.
  • Fill joints, nail indentations, holes, and cracks with joint compound using a trowel and broad knife.
  • Measure, cut, fit, and install drywall sheets to ensure a precise fit and smooth finish.
  • Tape over joints using a taping machine and embed tape in compound to create a strong bond.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in drywall installation.
  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
  • Physical stamina to perform manual labor and work at heights.
