Drywall Installation Job Description

At Andy's Masonry & Renovations Ltd., we are seeking a skilled Drywall Installation Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for installing drywall sheets, taping joints, and applying successive coats of compound to ensure a smooth finish.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Measure, cut, and install drywall sheets to ensure a precise fit.
  • Tape over joints using a taping machine and embed tape in compound.
  • Apply successive coats of compound and sand seams and joints to achieve a smooth finish.
  • Cut and install metal corner beads to protect exterior corners.
  • Fabricate and install suspended metal ceiling grids and place in panels to form acoustical and coffered ceilings.
  • Fill joints, nail indentations, holes, and cracks with joint compound using a trowel and broad knife.
Requirements:
  • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in drywall installation.
  • Permanent employment with 35 hours per week.
  • Fluency in English.
