Job Title: Restaurant/Amusement Service Supervisor

About the Role:

Cineplex Entertainment is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Restaurant/Amusement Service Supervisor to join our team at The Rec Room Seasons of Tuxedo. As a key member of our service team, you will be responsible for ensuring exceptional guest service, maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety, and driving revenue growth through effective sales strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a team of service staff to deliver exceptional guest service and maintain high standards of cleanliness and safety.
  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to drive revenue growth and meet sales targets.
  • Monitor and control costs, including labor, inventory, and supplies, to ensure profitability.
  • Collaborate with the Service Manager to develop and implement service standards, policies, and procedures.
  • Provide coaching and feedback to service staff to improve performance and achieve sales targets.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation, including health and safety, food safety, and liquor service regulations.

Requirements:

  • 1-3 years of supervisory experience in the food service, retail, and/or amusement industry.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, customer service, conflict resolution, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work flexible shifts, including days, evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays, as required.
  • Ability to work under pressure while complying with all relevant legislation.
  • Experience in all aspects of customer service and people management.
  • Experience in training will be considered an asset.
  • Familiarity with point of sale systems will be considered an asset.

Working Conditions:

  • Interacts with customers, employees, and management.
  • Standing for extended periods of time.
  • Will work flexible shifts.
  • Extended hours as required.
  • Manual dexterity required to use desktop computer and point-of-sale system, as required.
  • Lifting or moving up to 50 lbs may be required.
  • Exposure to hot grill or oven with temperatures as high as 350-500F.
  • Exposure to walk-in refrigerator with temperatures as low as 40oF.
  • Exposure to walk-in freezer with temperatures as low as 0oF.
  • Some travel may be required.
  • Ability to attend and conduct presentations.
