Health Care Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Health Care Aide to join our team at Bethany Sylvan Lake. As a Health Care Aide, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our residents, promoting their physical, emotional, and social well-being.
Key Responsibilities- Resident-Centered Care: Provide individualized care to residents, ensuring their needs are met and their dignity is respected.
- Documentation: Accurately document and report care and observations to the Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse in a timely manner.
- Safety: Contribute to a safe environment for residents, team members, and self by adhering to safety guidelines and practices.
- Pro-active Learner: Demonstrate a commitment to ongoing learning and professional development.
- Team Work: Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to evaluate and change care plans as needed.
- Grade 10 education and Government of Alberta approved Health Care Aide certificate
- Previous Health Care Aide experience is preferred but not required
- Ability to work effectively in a physically and mentally demanding environment
- Demonstrated ability to understand, speak, read, and write effectively in English
- Excellent observation, communication, and problem-solving skills
