About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled CNC Technologist to join our team at Diamond Fire Door Corp. as a Production Process Developer. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and developing computer applications for machines and processes, as well as developing manufacturing and processing procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and Development: Design plant layouts and production facilities, and develop computer applications for machines and processes.
  • Manufacturing and Processing: Develop manufacturing and processing procedures, and read blueprints and drawings.
  • Computer and Technology: Use computer numerical control (CNC) machines, and have proficiency in programming software, mapping and data visualization software, AutoCAD, MS Excel, MS Outlook, and MS Word.
  • Area of Specialization: Development of production processes, development of quality assurance programs, and development of computer applications.
  • Security and Safety: Maintain a clean criminal record check.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Work in a fast-paced environment, work under pressure, and have a combination of sitting, standing, and walking.
  • Personal Suitability: Possess efficient interpersonal skills, flexibility, initiative, organization, and teamwork skills.
Requirements
  • Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a related field.
  • Language: English or French.
  • Work Hours: 40 to 50 hours per week.
