Job Title: CNC Technologist

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled CNC Technologist to join our team at Diamond Fire Door Corp. The successful candidate will be responsible for setting machine or equipment controls, designing plant layouts and production facilities, and developing computer applications for machines and processes.

Responsibilities:

  • Set machine or equipment controls
  • Design plant layouts and production facilities
  • Develop computer applications for machines and processes
  • Develop manufacturing and processing procedures
  • Read blueprints and drawings

Requirements:

  • Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years

Work Environment:

  • Willing to relocate

Computer and Technology Knowledge:

  • Programming software
  • Mapping and data visualization software
  • AutoCAD
  • MS Excel
  • MS Outlook
  • MS Word
  • Use computer numerical control (CNC) machines

Area of Specialization:

  • Development of production processes
