Job Title: CNC Technologist

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled CNC Technologist to join our team at Diamond Fire Door Corp. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing plant layouts and production facilities, developing computer applications for machines and processes, and ensuring the efficient operation of our manufacturing facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design plant layouts and production facilities to optimize production efficiency
  • Develop computer applications for machines and processes to improve productivity and quality
  • Develop manufacturing and processing procedures to ensure compliance with industry standards
  • Read blueprints and drawings to understand production requirements
  • Use computer numerical control (CNC) machines to manufacture high-quality products

Requirements:

  • College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a related field
  • Strong knowledge of programming software, mapping and data visualization software, and AutoCAD
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure
