We are seeking a highly skilled Strategic Business Technology Leader to join our team at Worldsource Wealth Management. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of strategic business and technology programs.
Key Responsibilities- Program Management: Lead the full range of the Project Management Lifecycle, including discovery, initiating, planning, executing, monitoring and controlling, and closing.
- Business Solution Development: Communicate with stakeholders to define business solutions and recommend best practices to deliver value sooner to the business.
- Project Planning: Develop full-scale project plans and associated communication documents, and effectively communicate project expectations to project team members and stakeholders.
- Resource Management: Estimate the resources and participants needed to achieve project goals and manage the integration of vendor tasks and track and review vendor deliverables.
- Reporting and Communication: Develop and deliver progress reports, proposals, requirements documentation, and presentations, and demonstrate a proactive approach to identifying risks & gaps impacting target milestones.
- Team Management: Create and facilitate a collaborative and positive project team environment through applying proven soft-skills and use appropriate project management tools and techniques to track project performance.
- Change Management: Build and implement a change management plan to educate and train users to operate new systems or equipment, and oversee the allocation of funds, as well as availability of resources required for a project.
- Financial Services Experience: 5+ years of program/project management experience in a fast-paced technology environment, with a focus on financial services industry.
- Leadership Skills: Exceptional ability to lead people in change, with strong soft skills, collaboration, and communication skills.
- Education: Post-secondary education in Business or Information Technology.
- Technical Skills: Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, MS Project, and Visio, and experience with Atlassian Suite (JIRA, Confluence) is preferred.
- Competitive Compensation: Commensurate with experience.
