Position Overview:

The ideal candidate, reporting to the production supervisor, will assist the press and finishing teams in executing various responsibilities as detailed below.

Press Duties:

  • Collaborate with the press operator to clean printing units.
  • Wash and recycle screens as instructed by the press operator.
  • Ensure that solvent containers at the presses are adequately filled and refill as needed.
  • Prepare cores for all printing machines.
  • Manage inventory of press supplies.
  • Handle waste materials on all presses.
  • Maintain a tidy work environment.
  • Organize tools and equipment.
  • Carry out other related tasks as assigned.

Finishing Duties:

  • Provide cores for all finishing equipment.
  • Transport finished rolls to the finishing department and replace them with empty pallets.
  • Transfer completed pallets to the shipping area.
  • Deliver empty pallets to designated locations.
  • Assist in the bagging and packaging of finished rolls.
  • Ensure a clean work environment is maintained.
  • Perform additional related tasks as required.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Self-sufficient and proactive.
  • Team-oriented with effective communication skills.
  • Physically capable.
  • Fluency in French is essential.
  • Knowledge of English is advantageous.
  • Experience in manufacturing is a plus.
