Produce Assistant

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Produce Clerk to join our team at Foodland. As a key member of our grocery team, you will be responsible for maintaining our stock inventory, processing transactions, and providing excellent customer service.
Responsibilities- Unpack and count products received by the store, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
- Maintain our computerized stock inventory system, ensuring up-to-date records and accurate tracking.
- Record incoming stock and process electronic transactions using computer equipment.
- Stock shelves and display areas, ensuring a visually appealing and well-organized store environment.
- Price items using stamps or stickers according to our price list.
- Operate the cash register and process customer transactions.
- Provide exceptional customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving any issues in a professional manner.
- Attention to detail and organizational skills are essential for this role.
- Experience in a similar role is an asset, but not required.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
- Fluency in English is required, with the ability to communicate effectively with customers and colleagues.
