- Investigate various insurance claims for individuals and businesses, ensuring accurate and timely resolutions.
- Assess damages and negotiate settlements, maintaining a fair and impartial approach.
Requirements:
- Valid claims expertise license - category 5A
- Minimum 5 years of claims settlement experience, with a proven track record of success.
- Valid driver's license, with a clean driving record.
- Bilingualism is an asset, with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse clients.
Responsibilities:
- Collect facts from insured individuals and witnesses with tact and vigilance, ensuring a thorough understanding of each claim.
- Investigate and evaluate claims, negotiate settlements, and determine the extent of damages.
- Participate in client development meetings, building strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
- Follow established work standards and procedures, maintaining a high level of professionalism and integrity.
Skills Required:
- Experience in property and/or liability claims, with a strong understanding of insurance policies and procedures.
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to build trust with clients and colleagues.
- Negotiation skills, with the ability to resolve disputes and reach mutually beneficial agreements.
- Time management, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Team player, with the ability to collaborate with colleagues and contribute to a positive work environment.
- Customer service oriented, with a focus on delivering exceptional service to clients and stakeholders.
