Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Floral Manager to join our team at Fortinos. As a key member of our retail team, you will be responsible for overseeing the floral department, ensuring exceptional customer service, and driving sales and profit growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring a courteous and personalized experience for all customers.
- Establish and maintain accurate costs and retail prices, ensuring maximum gross profits.
- Oversee the daily operations of the floral department, including scheduling and supervising employees.
- Design and create innovative and exciting fresh, silk, and dried flower arrangements.
- Interview and select new hires, ensuring a strong team dynamic.
- Ensure the maintenance of safety procedures and sanitation standards, as per company policy.
- Respond promptly to customer inquiries, requests, and complaints, ensuring courteous customer relations at all times.
Requirements:
- Minimum of three to five years' experience in the floral industry, preferably with two years of management experience.
- Post-secondary education in floral design or specialized on-the-job training.
- Competent working knowledge of plant and flower care.
- Flexibility to work a variety of hours, including days, evenings, and weekends.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, under pressure.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
