We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Real Estate Law Clerk to join our team at Lawson, Clark & Oldman. As a key member of our real estate department, you will play a critical role in assisting lawyers with all aspects of real estate files, including commercial, residential, and mortgage transactions.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage purchase, sale, and mortgage re-finance transactions from start to finish
- Review and draft purchase and sale agreements
- Conduct and interpret title searches
- Prepare and coordinate all closing documents
- Prepare disbursement statements and draft accounts
- Organize documents for files and perform other administrative tasks as assigned
- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in a Real Estate Law Clerk role
- Law Clerk Diploma from an accredited Ontario Law Clerk program certified with the Institute of Law Clerks of Ontario
- Proficient in Teraview, Unity, PCLAW, and Microsoft Office
- Ability to multitask and manage real estate files from start to finish
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Client service oriented
