We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated General Practitioner in Oncology to join our team at BC Cancer – Surrey. As a General Practitioner in Oncology, you will work collaboratively with Radiation Oncologists and other medical specialists, nurses, radiation therapists, and clerical staff in an interdisciplinary working environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide ambulatory care to patients on therapy and in follow-up
- Work collaboratively with Radiation Oncologists and other medical specialists
- Participate in interdisciplinary working environment
Requirements:
- License to practice as a family physician in British Columbia
- Appointment as a member of the medical staff of the BC Cancer Agency and Surrey Memorial Hospital
- Commitment to upholding the shared responsibility of creating lasting and meaningful reconciliation in Canada
- Knowledge of social, economic, political, and historical realities impacting Indigenous communities
