About the Job

Pandher Trucking Ltd is seeking a skilled Truck Driver to join our team. As a Truck Driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods and materials safely and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service: Address customers' complaints or concerns in a professional manner.
  • Vehicle Maintenance: Oversee the condition of the vehicle, inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage, and other equipment to ensure it is in good working order.
  • Logistics: Load and unload goods, operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials, and perform pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections.
  • Documentation: Record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption, and maintain accurate records.
  • Safety and Security: Ensure the safety and security of cargo by tarping and inspecting it regularly.
  • Communication: Receive and relay information to central dispatch and communicate with customers and colleagues effectively.
Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma is required.
  • Certifications: A valid Driver's License (Class 1 or A) is required.
  • Experience: Experience is an asset, but not required.
  • Work Conditions: The job involves handling heavy loads, working in a physically demanding environment, and working long hours.
Work Environment

The work environment is fast-paced and physically demanding. The job requires working in a team environment and communicating effectively with colleagues and customers.
