Job Title: Retail Store Supervisor

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Retail Store Supervisor to join our team at 4343629 NOVA SCOTIA LTD.

Job Summary

The Retail Store Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our retail store, ensuring excellent customer service, and maintaining a high level of sales performance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assign sales workers to duties and ensure they are adequately trained to meet customer needs.
  • Hire and train new staff members, or arrange for their training, to ensure they are equipped to provide exceptional customer service.
  • Order merchandise and authorize returns to maintain an efficient inventory system.
  • Establish work schedules to ensure adequate staffing levels and maintain a smooth workflow.
  • Prepare reports on sales volumes, merchandising, and personnel matters to inform business decisions.
  • Resolve customer complaints, supply shortages, and other issues that may arise.
  • Organize and maintain inventory to prevent stockouts and overstocking.
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of sales workers to ensure they are working efficiently and effectively.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a retail environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure.
  • Physical ability to stand for extended periods and perform a combination of sitting, standing, and walking.
