Job Title: Ultrasonographer - MRHH Medical Imaging

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Ultrasonographer to join our team at Mackenzie Health. As an Ultrasonographer, you will be responsible for producing high-quality ultrasound images of designated anatomical areas, working closely with our medical team to provide exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Produce excellent ultrasound images of designated anatomical areas as directed, according to established practices and procedures.
  • Work well in a team environment as well as independently, demonstrating excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrate a commitment to patient and staff safety, adhering to policies and procedures that foster a safe and inclusive environment.
  • Perform the essential duties of the job, including ultrasound imaging, patient assessment, and documentation.
  • Effectively use empathy in interactions with others, demonstrating behaviors consistent with Mackenzie Health's Commitment to Caring.

Requirements:

  • Diploma from an accredited ultrasound program.
  • Registration in Good Standing with the College of Medical Radiation Technologists of Ontario (CMRTO), required.
  • Active membership with the Canadian Association of Registered Diagnostic Ultrasound Professionals (CARDUP).
  • Minimum 1 year of current related hospital experience, preferred.
  • Experience in Ultrasound, specifically OB/GYN, Abdominal, Small Parts.
  • Vascular experience preferred.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Active membership with the Canadian Society of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (CSDMS) preferred.
  • Active membership with the Ontario Society of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (OSDMS) preferred.
