About the Role
Vancouver Coastal Health is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Combined Lab and X-Ray Technologist to join our team at the Heiltsuk Hospital in Bella Bella, BC.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine technological duties, maintaining standards, quality control, and instrument maintenance in both the x-ray and lab departments.
- Work within the Diagnostic Accreditation Program (DAP) standards.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to provide high-quality patient care.
- Develop and implement quality improvement initiatives.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with industry developments.

Requirements
- Graduation from a recognized Combined Laboratory and X-Ray Technologist/Technician Program.
- Experience or program-based instruction in transfusion medicine.
- Eligibility for membership with the British Columbia Society of Laboratory Science, the Canadian Society of Combined Laboratory and X-Ray Technologists, and/or other recognized professional organizations.
