Painter - Decorative Finishing Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Painter to join our team at Quality Works Decorating Ltd. as a Decorative Finishing Specialist. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality painting and finishing services to our clients.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare and Finish Surfaces: Prepare, clean, and sand surfaces to be painted, ensuring a smooth and even finish.
- Repair and Restore: Repair cracks and holes in surfaces, and restore them to their original condition.
- Erect Scaffolding and Rigging: Safely erect scaffolding and swing stages, and attach rigging as required.
- Apply Finishing Touches: Apply paint, wallpaper, and other materials and finishes to interior and exterior surfaces, ensuring a high-quality finish.
- Paint Small Items and Touch-ups: Paint small items and apply touch-ups using paint brushes, maintaining a high level of attention to detail.
- Education and Experience: A secondary (high) school graduation certificate and 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in the painting and finishing industry.
- Equipment and Machinery Experience: Experience with brush painting and roller painting, and a strong understanding of wood finishing specialization.
- Physical Capabilities: Ability to work in a physically demanding environment, with a strong attention to detail and hand-eye coordination.
- Weight Handling: Ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs) and handle heavy equipment.
- Personal Suitability: Excellent client focus, efficient interpersonal skills, flexibility, reliability, and a strong team player attitude.
