We are seeking a skilled Painter and Decorator to join our team at IRONBULL CONTRACTING INC. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for preparing, cleaning, and painting surfaces to a high standard.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and repairing cracks and holes.
- Mix and apply paint, wallpaper, and other materials to interior and exterior surfaces.
- Estimate costs and materials for projects.
- Work with clients to advise on colours and choice of wall coverings.
- Erect scaffolding and swing stages as required.
We are committed to supporting diverse communities, including newcomers and refugees. As a Painter and Decorator, you will have the opportunity to work with these groups and provide support where needed.
Requirements- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in painting and decorating.
- Ability to work in a variety of locations.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
