About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Warehouse Manager to join our team at Andy Transport. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a crucial role in overseeing warehouse operations, optimizing efficiency, and ensuring the seamless flow of goods in the transportation sector.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage day-to-day warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, and shipping of products.
- Implement and enforce efficient warehouse processes to maximize productivity and minimize errors.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and conduct regular audits to ensure inventory accuracy.
- Collaborate with procurement and logistics teams to coordinate incoming and outgoing shipments.
- Optimize warehouse layout and organization for space utilization and workflow efficiency.
- Implement safety protocols and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Supervise and lead warehouse staff, providing training and performance feedback.
- Collaborate with other departments to meet overall company goals and objectives.
- Troubleshoot and resolve warehouse-related issues promptly.
Requirements
- 7+ years of related experience in transportation or logistics.
- Bachelor's degree in Business or a related field is a plus.
- Proven experience in transport client support or account management.
- Excellent communication skills in English and French, both verbal and written.
- Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
- Strong negotiation abilities for contract agreements and rate discussions.
- A self-starter with the drive to exceed targets and contribute to the company's growth.
