Opportunity Overview Our Winnipeg office is on the lookout for a Mechanical Project Manager . You excel in prioritizing tasks and aligning team efforts towards common objectives. Oversee design management concerning construction budgets and project impacts. Conduct calculations and select appropriate equipment, delegating tasks to design and CAD teams as necessary. Ensure seamless coordination among internal and external project teams. Review all project deliverables for accuracy and completeness at various development stages. Uphold company standards in project administration and documentation. Act as contract administrator for designated projects when required. Ensure timely review of shop drawings and coordinate with the contract administration team. Prepare and review change notices as needed. Ensure tasks are completed accurately within the allocated hours and fees. Address technical and financial inquiries related to the project. Keep the Principal-in-charge informed of any changes in project scope and prepare necessary contract amendments. Support accounts receivable processes. Liaise with external consultants and vendors to facilitate project delivery. Organize and participate in client meetings, delivering presentations as required. Candidate Profile Minimum five years of project engineering experience in mechanical building services. Current P.Eng. designation or eligibility within one year; senior C.E.T. with equivalent experience may also be considered. Strong knowledge of provincial building codes, ASHRAE, CSA, and NFPA standards. Ability to communicate codes and standards requirements effectively to all project stakeholders. Familiarity with construction project procurement methodologies. Demonstrated leadership skills and the ability to work autonomously. Proven ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication skills, fostering strong client and team relationships. Experience coordinating with other consultants and contractors on major projects. Strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities. LEED certification or experience with sustainable design projects is an asset.
