The Winnipeg office of Smith + Andersen is seeking a skilled Mechanical Project Manager to join our team. As a natural leader, you will be responsible for prioritizing tasks, managing multiple projects, and ensuring timely completion of all contract administration activities. Your excellent communication skills will enable you to effectively collaborate with clients, consultants, and contractors to deliver high-quality projects.
Key Responsibilities
* Prepare and review design concepts, construction budgets, and project timelines
* Coordinate with internal and external project teams to ensure seamless project delivery
* Review and manage project documentation, including reports, calculations, and drawings
* Promote and enforce company standards for project administration, documentation, and processes
* Act as contract administrator for designated projects, ensuring timely completion of all contract administration activities
Requirements
* 5+ years of project engineering experience in mechanical building services
* Current P.Eng. or ability to qualify within one year
* Advanced working knowledge of provincial building codes, ASHRAE, CSA, and NFPA standards
* Strong leadership qualities and ability to work independently
* Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills
