Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Frank's Feather and Fin Limited. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of our food service department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Staff Management: Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that they are working efficiently and effectively.
  • Training and Development: Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, and provide ongoing support and guidance to ensure they are meeting our high standards.
  • Inventory Management: Estimate ingredient and supply requirements for meal preparation, and maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
  • Customer Service: Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, and address customer complaints or concerns in a professional and timely manner.
  • Reporting and Budgeting: Prepare and submit reports on food service operations, and prepare budget and cost estimates for food and supplies.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent.
  • Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a food service environment, or equivalent experience.
  • Language: English.
