Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Room Attendant to join our Housekeeping team at Fairmont Royal York. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring that our guests' rooms are clean, comfortable, and inviting. Key Responsibilities
  • Guest Room Preparation: Ensure that guest rooms are clean, tidy, and well-stocked with amenities.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional service to guests, responding to their needs and requests in a timely and professional manner.
  • Housekeeping Operations: Maintain a high level of cleanliness and organization in guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with other Housekeeping team members to ensure seamless service delivery and maintain a positive and productive team environment.
  • Quality Control: Conduct regular quality checks to ensure that guest rooms meet our high standards of cleanliness and quality.
Requirements
  • Previous Housekeeping Experience: A minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar role, preferably in a luxury hotel environment.
  • Excellent Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact with guests and colleagues in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to lift, carry, and push heavy objects, as well as stand for long periods of time.
  • Availability: Availability to work a variety of shifts, including weekends, holidays, and overtime as required.
