Job Summary

We are looking for a Part-time casual hours PSW for the following intersection: Bovaird Dr East and Torbram. The Personal Support Worker/Caregiver is a member of the home care team who works under the supervision of the Care Coordinator and performs various personal care services as necessary to meet the clients needs.

Responsibilities
  • Provide morning and evening care to clients
  • Prepare meals for clients
  • Perform light housekeeping tasks
  • Accompany clients on outings
  • Assist with shopping and errands
  • Remind clients to take medication
  • Assist with ambulation and transportation of clients
  • Provide companionship to clients
  • Document and chart client care
Qualifications
  • Personal Support Worker Certificate or equivalent
  • Current CPR/First Aid training
  • Speaking Polish or Russian (preferable)
  • Current Police Record Check or Vulnerable Sector Screen
  • Negative TB skin test or chest x-ray
  • Access to the internet/mobile phone
  • Great support and teamwork
  • Dementia/Alzheimer's experience
