Job Summary

We are looking for a Part-time casual hours PSW for the following intersection: Bovaird Dr East and Torbram. As a Personal Support Worker/Caregiver, you will be a member of our home care team, working under the supervision of the Care Coordinator, and performing various personal care services as necessary to meet the clients' needs.

Responsibilities
  • Provide morning and evening care to clients
  • Prepare meals and snacks for clients
  • Assist with light housekeeping tasks
  • Accompany clients on outings and errands
  • Remind clients to take medication
  • Assist with ambulation and transportation of clients
  • Provide companionship to clients
  • Document client care and chart progress
Qualifications
  • Personal Support Worker Certificate or equivalent
  • Current CPR/First Aid training
  • Ability to communicate in Polish or Russian (preferred)
  • Current Police Record Check or Vulnerable Sector Screen
  • Negative TB skin test or chest x-ray
  • Access to the internet and a mobile phone
