Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Technician to join our Operations Team at Vention. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for manufacturing electromechanical and electronic components, conducting quality assurance tasks, and collaborating with the operations team to ensure fulfillment success.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform assembly, software installation, and testing of Vention automation components, including MachineMotion Controller, Module, Sensors, and Motors.
  • Replenish parts in production lines and coordinate missing parts with procurement.
  • Build harnesses and cable assemblies following IPC/WHMA-A-620 standards.
  • Perform assembly and reworks of printed circuit boards as per IPC/WHMA-A-610 standards.
  • Contribute to the improvement of automation components and documentation by enhancing cost, performance, reliability, and manufacturability.
  • Ensure the manufacturing area is well-organized and effective, providing ideas and suggestions to increase efficiency and improve practices.
Requirements
  • Electronic Technician Diploma or Certificate of vocational studies in electronics.
  • Minimum 1 year's experience in electrical assembly and wiring sub-systems in a production environment.
  • Ability to interpret electrical schematics, engineering drawings, and production documents.
  • Experience with soldering methods for wiring and printed circuit boards.
  • Knowledge of harness assembly as per IPC/WHMA-A-620 and electronics circuit board assembly as per IPC/WHMA-A-610 is an asset.
  • Experience in Quality Assurance is an asset.
