Job Title: Construction Operations Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Construction Operations Manager to join our team at Walser Contracting Ltd. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and submit construction project budget estimates
  • Recruit, hire and supervise staff and/or volunteers
  • Hire and supervise activities of subcontractors
  • Plan and prepare construction schedules and milestones and monitor progress
  • Prepare contracts and negotiate revisions, changes and additions to contractual agreements
  • Establish and implement policies and procedures for quality control
  • Plan and manage budgets
  • Direct the purchase of building materials and land acquisitions
  • Develop and implement quality control programs
  • Prepare reports
  • Plan, organize, direct, control and evaluate daily operations
Requirements:
  • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in construction operations management
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
  • Knowledge of construction management software and tools
