Senior Financial Analyst Opportunity

Columbia Sportswear Company is seeking a highly skilled Senior Financial Analyst to join our North America finance team at our Canada Headquarters in London, Ontario. This is a 6-month contract position that will provide strategic and financial support to drive effective, efficient, and informed decisions.

About the Role

The Senior Financial Analyst will report to the Sr. Director, Financial Planning & Analysis, and will support the entire regional business, including wholesale, ecommerce, brick & mortar, and our local distribution center. Key responsibilities will include:

  • Developing and utilizing driver-based financial modeling and analysis
  • Leading the development and compilation of annual budgets and periodic forecasts
  • Actively engaging in the development of three-year, strategic, and long-range financial plans
  • Creating insightful and accurate reporting tools, processes, and ad hoc analyses

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or related field
  • 4+ years of experience in financial forecasting, budgeting, and analysis
  • Advanced problem-solving skills and ability to identify potential and/or existing financial issues
  • Demonstrated ability to create effective Excel models and presentations
