Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage balance sheets and profit/loss statements to ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards and procedures.
  • Plan, set up, and administer accounting systems to ensure efficient financial operations.
  • Analyze clients' financial records to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Prepare financial information for individuals, departments, or companies, and ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards and procedures.
  • Prepare reports and audit findings to ensure transparency and accountability.
  • Make recommendations concerning cash management, insurance coverage, investment planning, retirement, and estate planning.
  • Prepare financial statements and reports to ensure timely and accurate financial information.
  • Recommend improvements to accounting systems and management practices to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Review and examine financial services and institutions to ensure compliance with governing legislation and regulation.
  • Analyze financial documents and reports to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Examine accounting records to ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards and procedures.
  • Investigate possible unethical conduct or breaches of securities or commodity futures law.
  • Assist in the planning and execution of financial statement audits to ensure transparency and accountability.
  • Keep financial records and establish, maintain, and balance various accounts using manual and computerized bookkeeping systems.
Requirements:
  • Automatic data processing (ADP) skills.
  • Accounting software skills, including Simply Accounting, Quick Books, and Sage Accounting Software.
  • MS Office skills, including MS Excel, MS Windows, and MS PowerPoint.
  • Internet skills.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to multitask and work under pressure.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
