As a key member of our finance team, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of accounts payable and receivable functions, ensuring accuracy and compliance with financial practices.
Key Responsibilities- Accounts Payable and Receivable Management: Prepare and process journal entries, manage payable processing, reconcile accounts, and verify accounts to summarize financial information.
- Accounting Documentation: Ensure all accounting documentation, including accounts payable, contracts, cheques, and bank statements, are stored in an organized manner for audit purposes.
- Digital Accounting: Handle all accounting documents in a digital format, including digital invoices and e-transfer transactions (incoming and outgoing).
- Financial Practices: Process accounts payable documents in line with financial practices and policies.
- Monthly Invoicing: Monitor, reconcile, and prepare monthly invoicing for individualized funding; reconcile monthly MasterCard accounts and complete bank reconciliations.
- Vendor Communication: Communicate with vendors to query invoices or process billing adjustments.
- Financial Reporting: Post and verify monthly journal entries, allocate funds according to budgets, and assist with payroll inquiries and processing.
- Accounts Receivable: Reconcile accounts receivable listings, take necessary steps to collect outstanding receivables, and prepare bank deposits.
- Eligibility: Legal eligibility to work and reside in Canada.
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years in an Accounts Payable and Receivable position.
- Driver's License: Possess a full class G driver's license.
- Criminal Background Check: Ability to pass a criminal background check.
- Skills: Strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and proficiency in digital accounting processes.
