Senior Tax Analyst Opportunity at Element Fleet Management

Element Fleet Management, a leading provider of fleet management solutions, is seeking a highly skilled Senior Tax Analyst to join our team. As a key member of our finance department, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and compliance of our tax provisions and returns.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the preparation of income tax provisions and returns, ensuring timely and accurate submissions.
  • Respond to tax audits and inquiries, providing clear and concise explanations to resolve any issues.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to prepare tax information returns and disclosures, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Identify process improvements and implement changes to streamline operations, increasing efficiency and reducing costs.
  • Support forecasting and reporting functions, providing data-driven insights to inform business decisions.
  • Handle ad hoc tax matters, providing expert advice and guidance to ensure compliance and minimize risk.

Requirements:

  • Proficiency in Excel, Power Query, and SQL, with experience in data analysis and reporting.
  • CPA with Canadian income tax experience, with a strong understanding of tax laws and regulations.
  • Enrolled in or completed CPA In-depth Tax course, with a demonstrated commitment to ongoing professional development.
  • Strong team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  • Experience with US/international tax is an asset, with a strong understanding of global tax implications.
