About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Environmental Project Manager to join our team at Pinchin. As a key member of our project management team, you will be responsible for overseeing a variety of regulatory and due diligence projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Manage and coordinate project activities, including project planning, budgeting, and resource allocation.
  2. Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their project requirements and delivering high-quality results.
  3. Prepare and present proposals to clients, highlighting the value and benefits of our services.
  4. Conduct senior technical reviews of regulatory and due diligence submissions, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  5. Participate in business development initiatives, identifying new opportunities and building relationships with key stakeholders.
  6. Mentor and guide junior and intermediate staff, providing guidance and support to help them grow and develop in their careers.
Requirements
  1. Bachelor's Degree in Science (Environmental or Earth Sciences preferred) or Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Applied Science.
  2. P.Eng. or P.Geo. designation is an asset, but not required.
  3. Minimum 3 years of experience in environmental consulting, with at least 3 years in a project management position.
  4. Experience with conducting and managing Phase I and II Environmental Site Assessments, including soil vapour assessments and indoor air quality assessments.
  5. Experience with conducting Phase One and Two Environmental Site Assessments in support of filing Records of Site Condition in accordance with O. Reg. 153/04.
  6. Working knowledge of O. Reg. 406/19 (Excess Soil Management).
  7. Experience with conducting underground storage tank removal programs and/or remedial excavations in accordance with O. Reg. 153/04.
  8. Experience with invoicing, budgeting, and other areas of project-related financial management.
  9. Strong communication and writing skills, with the ability to present complex information in a clear and concise manner.
  10. High level of attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
